Mission

Centro de Investigaciones Biológicas del Noroeste, S.C. is a research center pertaining to the System of CONACYT Public Centers, and whose mission is to contribute to the welfare of society by performing scientific research, technology innovation, and developing human resources in sustainable management of natural resources.

Approach

Be a center of excellence, quality, and reference, and contribute actively to national development in the field of natural resources.

Strategic Objectives

1. Contribute with the economic, social, and governmental sectors in the solution of problems related to the scientific and technological fields of the Center.
    
2. Contribute to knowledge of natural resources, as well as to the effects produced on them by natural and anthropogenic variables.
    
3. Develop human resources in our specialty areas with an excellent academic level and with the abilities that will enable them to join the sectors that contribute to national development.
