This area is integrated by qualified and experienced engineers in scientific equipment and computer hardware  and software. The staff supports the laboratories in their quality process by solving multiple problems that show up in their daily activities maintaining, preventing, and correcting scientific and computer equipment from the Center. Staff is located in Building "C" and can be called at  (612) 12 38484 extension 3831.

Engineer in Electronics. He graduated from Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México, and is currently working on a master's program in administration. He joined CIBNOR in 1996 to form part of work team of this services laboratory, where was the Responsible Technician and Operational Coordinator to the former Director's Office of Technical Support. Since 2007 he has been the Operational Coordinator of Specialized Support Services. He taught Electronics and Computer Science for 6 years at Universidad Autónoma de Baja California Sur.

ELECTRONIC ENGINEERING SERVICES

Esteban Moreno Cervantes

Engineer in Communications and Electronics. He graduated from  Escuela Superior de Ingeniería Mecánica y Eléctrica of Instituto Politécnico Nacional. He joined CIBNOR in 1994 in the area of electronic engineering. He has a 15-year professional experience in electronic services focused on scientific instruments and computer equipment. He has been teaching subjects related to Electronics and Telecommunications in higher education institutions of Baja California Su, such as the Tecnológico de Baja California Universidad Católica and the Tecnológico de la Paz. He is currently the Responsible Technician of this laboratory.


Arturo Flores Escobar

Engineer in Comunications and Electronics. He joined the CIBNOR team in electronic maintenance in 1990.  He has collaborated in different research project in preventive and corrective maintenance of scientific equipment. He has taken different technical training course focused mainly on chromatography, pedagogy and teaching methods, metrology, quality, industrial property and technology transfer, gauging, updating analysis instruments, validation of analytical methods, interpretation of the NMX EC 17025 norm, training auditors, applying aptitude tests, among others, and taught uncertainty estimates,.

Carlos Alonso Martínez Martínez

Engineer in Electronics and Communications, special field in Computer Networks. He graduated from  Universidad Autónoma de Guadalajara. He has a 3-year experience in computer hardware and software maintenance, 2.5-year experience in scientific laboratory equipment and in medical equipment for critical therapies and blood bank. He joined CIBNOR in this Laboratory where he performs maintenance activities and develops control prototypes for different research areas.


Salvador Anwart Meza

Computer Science and Telecommunications Engineer. He graduated from Tecnológico de Baja California Universidad Católica, and at the beginning of 2010 he joined the work team of this laboratory. He has a 4-year experience in maintenance of computer equipment, installation and maintenance of encyclomedia educational systems for the State of Baja California Sur; 6 months in preventive and corrective maintenance of scientific equipment. He has taught subjects in electronics and telecommunications in Tecnológico de Baja California Universidad Católica, and is currently studying a master's program in administration in Tecnológico de La Paz.


Jesús Mauricio Pérez Lizarraga

Engineer in Computer Sciences and Telecommunications. He graduated from Tecnológico de Baja California Universidad Católica, and at the beginning of 2010 he joined the work team of this laboratory. He has a 1-year professional experience in preventive and corrective maintenance of scientific and computer equipment.
