Machinery Shop - Staff -
Industrial Mechanic with experience in the field for 20 years. From 1980 to 1988, he worked as Head of the Laboratory of Solar Energy in SEDESOL. He joined CIBNOR since 1988 in Technological Design in Electronic Engineering making different pieces and prototypes to support research projects. He is currently assigned to the Office of Technical Support in the Machinery Shop working with precision tools in materials such as nylsteel, PVC, aluminum, stainless steel, cold rolled, and so on to repair laboratory equipment. You need JavaScript enabled to view it Guillermo García He is an industrial mechanic who has worked in the field since 1979. He started working in Industrias Montacargas in Mexico City until 1984. From 1984 to 1985 he worked for “Alta Frecuencia Industrial” in Mexico City, a company that produces machinery for plastic injection. From 1986 to 1989 he worked for CIBNOR as an industrial mechanic in Technological Design in electronic engineering. From 1991 to 1992 we worked for Secretaría de la Marina Armada de México as a mechanic in Tuxpan, Veracruz. He returned to CIBNOR in 1992 and since then has been working as industrial mechanic assigned to the Support and Services Laboratories Unit, participating in an average of 30 annual projects, and helping external institutions such as CICESE, UABCS, CICIMAR. He worked for two years in Maquinados SM, one year in Maquinados Unidos, and one year in EURAD de México. He joined CIBNOR in 1986 in the Division of Technological Design as Responsible Technician of the Metallic Structure Shop up to August 2005. He now works in the Machinery shop performing different types of works to repair or modify laboratory equipment.
