Laboratory of Acclimatization and Maintenance of Aquatic Organisms

Pablo Monsalvo SpencerLaboratory staff

Master of Science, special field in Marine Ecology. In 1987 he joined Centro de Investigaciones Biológicas del Noroeste, S. C., La Paz, B.C.S. Unit, participating in research projects in zootechnology and production of bivalve mollusk seed. He has collaborated in several basic research projects in fish and crustacea. He is co-author of a Catarina scallop patent for seed production. Author and coauthor of scientific publications and several works presented in national and international conferences. He has participated in the development of human resources. He is currently in charge of this laboratory.

Teresa Medina Hernández

Technician has been working for different CIBNOR laboratories in La Paz, B.C.S Unit for 17 years. She has participated in diverse projects related with microalga culture, microbiology, as well as in rodent management. Currently, with her training in use and management of experiments on aquatic animals, she is working in the Laboratory of Acclimatization and Maintenance of Aquatic Organism in preparing and maintaining the organisms in experimental bioassays.
