Molecular Biology Laboratory

The Molecular Biology Laboratory is equipped with state of the art technology instruments. The lab has a DNA sequencer ABI Prism 310 and a Real Time PCR thermocycler ABI Prism 7000. Here, students and researchers find adequate facilities to develop all their research projects.  The lab also offers technical services to internal and external users, e.g.: DNA sequencing and detection and quantification of viral diseases in Peneid shrimp, identification of marine yeasts, etc.
