Jesús Neftalí Gutiérrez Rivera, M. S.

He graduated from the Faculty of Marine Sciences from the State University of Sinaloa with the thesis “Description of Abnormalities in the Lymphoid Organ in Wild and Cultured Shrimp in the State of Nayarit” He obtained a Master of Science degree in CIAD (Research Center in Food and Development, Mazatlan Unit) with the thesis “Cloning and Expression of a Glycoprotein Receptor (GPHR) in the ovary of Sphoeroides annulatus Puffer Diana”. He has been in charge of the Molecular Biology Laboratory in CIBNOR since January 2002. He has participated in 2 international conferences and is author of 2 refereed publications. He has collaborated in 4 research projects related to the study of molecular mechanisms that regulate fish reproduction, mollusk and Crustacean pathology, among others. He is currently a SNI candidate.

Griselda Gallegos Simental, M. S.

Chemical Biologist and Master in Aquiculture Sciences. In CICTUS-UNISON (University of Sonora) she participated in environmental impact research projects in collaboration agreements with: State Government of Sonora (2), University of Arizona (1); 3 aquiculture research projects with CONACYT; and 3 presentations and publications in conferences. She joined CIBNOR in 1998 in charge of the Micro Algae Culture Laboratory in Guaymas Unit; she participated in 3 research projects in aquiculture and 1 in Environmental Impact Manifesto. In La Paz, she worked in Liaison and Technological Transfer in CIBNOR; she wrote one chapter for the Handbook for Enterprise Procedures and participated in 4 External Technical Reports. She is currently working on the project of Viral Disease Diagnosis in Shrimp as part of the National Program of Aquiculture Health - Diagnosis Network where CIBNOR is a member.
