Chromatography

- General Information -

Chromatography LaboratoryChromatography is a physical separation process of substances involving the interaction of one or more solutes and two phases.

Mobile phase (gas-liquid)

Stationary phase  (solid-liquid)

Depending on the state of the phases involved, it is possible to develop several types of chromatography.  When the mobile phase is a gas, it is called Gas Chromatography and Liquid Chromatography when the mobile phase is a liquid.

CIBNOR Chromatography Laboratory has the objective of offering support and the necessary facilities to fulfill the needs of scientific work. To carry out analytical experiments, the laboratory is divided in two areas, Liquid Chromatography and Gas Chromatography:

LIQUID CHROMATOGRAPHY

HPLC fit to mass with diod arrangement detector (Agilent Technologies, Electrophoresis HPLC 1200, with variable longitude wave detector

GAS CHROMATOGRAPHY

Gas chromatographer fit to mass (Model VARIAN)
Gas chromatographer with FID detector. Model 5890 Series II of HP
