The Laboratory has the accreditation of Entidad Mexicana de Acreditación (EMA) in water samples with the following techniques:

1. Determining total coliforms (MPN/ml)
2. Determining fecal coliforms (MPN/ ml)
3. Determining presumptive Escherichia coli (MPN/ ml)

Besides, it is in the process of certifying the following analysis on:

Water

Aquaculture, soil, plant organisms, and so on :

1. Determining aerobic mesophilic bacteria
2. Counting philamentous fungi
   
3. Counting yeast
   

The Laboratory has the necessary equipment to carry out quality analysis on:

1. Counting colonies
   
2. Laminar flow hood
   
3. Digital horizontal autoclave
4. ph digital meter
   
5. Incubators
6. Phase contrast microscopy
7. Orbital agitator
   

The majority of the analyses are performed according to the Official Mexican Norms
