Manuel Salvador Trasviña Castro, M.S.

He is a geologist with a Master's in Agriculture and Livestock Development in Dry Lands. He joined CIBNOR in 2001 as part of the team of analytical laboratories. He is currently in charge of the Soil Testing Laboratory assigned to CIBNOR Laboratories and Support Services Unit in La Paz, Baja California Sur.  He has participated in the National Conference in Soil Quality. His main activity is to provide highly competent chemical analysis in soil and marine sediments, which comply with  NMX-EC-17025-IMNC 2006 requirements, to internal and external users of the Center. He is also the authorized signatory technician in techniques credited by Entidad Mexicana de Acreditación in the Soil Testing Laboratory since 2004 up-to-date.
