• Show documents that prove having obtained the Master's degree in a field related to biological sciences (certificate of studies and academic degree). Persons without this academic degree can show equivalent with a minimum of 48 formal crerdits in courses at graduate level, with an examination and one scientific publication.
• Certificate with a minimum Grade Point Average of 8 or its equivalent (in a scale from 1 to 10).
• Photocopy of proof of Population Registry ID CURP.
• Photocopy of official ID with photograph and signature.
• Letter of Commitment of the nominated Thesis Director or Thesis Co-Directors and candidate's acceptance.
• Thesis Project draft indicating background, introduction, methodology, objetives, and activity schedule. (Maximum extension of Thesis Project draf: 2 pages)
• In case the Thesis Director is external to CIBNOR, a Letter of Commitment should be presented with expressed acceptance of an internal thesis joint-Director in CIBNOR before the interview with the Admission Committee .
• Personal interview with Admissions Committee.
• Hand in complete list of documents to Departamento de Control Escolar de Posgrado-CIBNOR [Admissions]. Please include the following documents in the required formats:

2. ADMISSION EXAMINATION FOR GRADUATE STUDENTS (PAEP).
   Facilitator: Instituto Tecnológico y de Estudios Superiores de Monterrey.
   This examination is administered by CIBNOR on the dates at the bottom of this Call or in any ITESM Campus, according to their calendars.¹
3. ENGLISH EXAMINATION. Options:
   
   1. CELE-UNAM. Facilitator: Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México. This examniation is administered by CIBNOR on the dates pointed out at the bottom of this Call or by CELE-UNAM in Mexico City.¹ [  CIBNOR Instructions | Application Sample | Application Format ]
   2. CENLEX-IPN. Facilitator: Instituto Politecnico Nacional. This examination (proficency examination, for skills) is administered by CIBNOR on the dates pointed out at the bottom of this Call or by CENLEX-IPN in Mexico City.¹
   3. TOEFL. Score of 520 points or its equivalent.¹

¹ Verify the results are delivered no later than the due date to hand in the requiered documents in this Call.

Candidates taking examinations in our facilities can make payment in cash or by credit card directly with the General Cashier at CIBNOR. Foreign candidates can pay by bank transfer. The details of this payment form are sent by electronic mail.

All payments must be previously authorized by Departamento de Control Escolar [Admissions] after verifying the candidates meet all the requirements pointed out in this Call.

FOREIGN CANDIDATES should take and pass the GRE (in its mode of General Test) and TOEFL (score of 520 points or its equivalent) in case first language is other than Englisho and show proficiency in Spanish by means of an official document or an interview with any of the members of the Internal Council of Graduate Studies.
