
BioHelis was conceived to respond to the different demands, activities, and development stages of innovative companies. Thus, BioHelis is composed of 4 areas:
1) InnoVa: An area dedicated to research and technology development. InnoVa comprises 5 modules of different sizes that provide companies with the required flexibility and expansion capabilities for future development. The units will be equipped with services such as high quality sea and fresh water supply, electricity, and communications. These modules are ideal for companies that wish to develop or improve technology jointly with BioHelis.
2) EscaLa: An area composed of tanks for aquaculture, greenhouses for agriculture, buildings suitable for hatcheries or biotechnology projects, as well as areas for future development, ideal for companies that are looking up to test, scale up or adapt technologies at pre-commercial levels.
3) ComerCia: An area which in the future will host well-established companies that wish to apply at a commercial level a technology developed jointly with BioHelis. ComerCia will have modules and lots in which edifices or structures can be built for production.
4) NegoCia: BioHelis is developing a business center that will provide multiple services such as: project management and administration, business analysis and plans, marketing studies, project proposals to obtain complementary public and private investment, technical training and development courses, and special services and studies, such as environmental impact assessment, laboratory analyses and intellectual property protection services (i.e. patents). It will also have furnished halls for meetings, videoconference services, a computer lab, and laboratories for training and extension, as well as office rental and secretarial support for companies hosted by the park.
