The HCIB Herbarium of Centro de Investigaciones Biológicas del Noroeste hosts herbolized samples of vascular plants of the flora in the State of Baja California Sur, and to a lesser extent from different parts of adjacent states (Sonora, Baja California, California and Arizona). The Herbarium collection currently exceeds 20 000 specimens, whose data has been captured in an Excel database accessible for reference, with geographic, ecological, and curatorial information .
